Ticino Guide

"TICINO GUIDE ODV is an association that aims to promote and explore the areas of the Lombardy Ticino Valley Park, the largest river park in Europe, through rivers, lakes, moraine hills, river canals and large cities with the aim of reconnecting the relationship between the natural-cultural environment and its inhabitants, involving the ever-increasing presence of occasional visitors and tourists.

This area boasts some of Italy's most significant environmental characteristics. It is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve (MAB), part of the Natura 2000 Network and the Trans-Insubria Bionet Ecological Corridor. It also includes Sites of Community Importance and Special Protection Areas.

LIVING IN A BEAUTIFUL PLACE between hills and river: Nature and Culture to EXPLORE, KNOW, PROMOTE, PROTECT, EDUCATE, LIVE. The project aims to promote the protection of the reference environment through environmental education activities, reporting incorrect practices and collaboration in the maintenance of the paths in the affected areas, all in support of the competent authorities.
