"The gravel world is full of traces, but above all with many stories to tell. We all rode for miles without knowing anything about the dry stone wall we were skirting or the legend surrounding that village.
This time we decided to change the rules.
We don't want to organize a social ride from hundreds of people. Unpublished Chapters are a limited-edition experience, designed for those seeking the quality of time and depth of discovery. It is the definitive union between the gravel gathering and the signature tour. You will be able to cycle following expert guides from the Ticino Park who can tell you the best about the area.
HISTORICAL SOUL - Sunday, September 20 – Arsago Seprio, Sesto Calende, Somma Lombardo
Gravel and populations in the Ticino Valley.
Let yourself be carried away between nature and history.
Starting from Arsago Seprio, an ancient parish church of Seprio with its Romanesque complex, we will travel through naturalistic oases and ancient medieval streets until we reach Lake Maggiore in Sesto Calende, where the Ticino River begins its Lombard course. We will pass through the dams where the most important complex of Lombard canals originates to reach the imposing Visconti Castle of Somma Lombardo.
